an Election will be held on
Tuesday, November 5, 2024.
Polling location: 9999 Tompkins Rd.
Rives Junction, Michigan
Notice to the Absent Voters
of Tompkins Township
Jackson County, Michigan
TO THE QUALIFIED ELECTORS
of the Township of Tompkins who wish to vote at the
Election but are unable to attend the polls,
applications for absentee ballots are being accepted
at the township clerk’s office, 9999 Tompkins Rd.,
Rives Junction, MI 49277. If you wish to have your
ballot mailed to you, the clerk must receive your
application by 5:00 p.m. Friday, November 1, 2024.
Voters may vote in person at the clerk’s office through
4:00 p.m. Monday, November 4, 2024. Absentee
ballots must be returned to the township clerk by 8:00
p.m., election night, November 5, 2024. Any voter who
is unable to mail or deliver his or her absentee ballot
to the clerk by the close of polls should contact the
clerk for assistance.

The precinct canvass of early votes will occur at the Jackson County Tower Building, 120 W. Michigan Ave, 17th Floor at 8:00 PM on August 6, 2024 and again on November 5, 2024. ***************

Attention Absentee Ballot Voters who receive an Application:
Please note the Permanent Absentee Ballot List is being discontinued after the 2024 Election cycle.
The Permanent Ballot List residents will continue to receive a ballot each election.
Residents who wish to vote Absentee will need to either sign up for the Permanent Ballot List or request a ballot for each election.
